Canada Express Entry Fees

To apply for Canadian Express Entry, you need to the visa fee for the primary applicant along with the dependents included in the application along with the primary applicants.

1. Your application
Processing fee ($550) and right of permanent residence fee ($490) – $CAN 1,040

2. Your application (without right of permanent residence fee) – $CAN 550

3. Include your spouse or partner
Processing fee ($550) and right of permanent residence fee ($490) – $CAN 1,040

4. Include your spouse or partner (without right of permanent residence fee) – $CAN 550

5. Include a dependent child – $CAN 150 (per child)

Example:

1. For Husband and Wife: $CAN 1100 (without right of permanent residence fee)
2. For Husband, Wife and 1 Child: $CAN 1250 (without right of permanent residence fee)

Definition of a dependent child as of October 24, 2017

Children qualify as dependants if they meet both of these requirements:

  • they’re under 22 years old, and
  • they don’t have a spouse or common-law partner.
